A Letter To Mike Capuano

The Honorable Mike Capuano
U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20015

Dear Congressman:

We were so excited about endorsing your candidacy for the U.S. Senate last year, and we were saddened when you did not win. We spent hours talking with friends and associates in Massachusetts.

Little did we know you were in doubt about supporting President Obama! What a shock to hear that you may not be supporting Health Care Reform. We urge you to get on board and support Health Care Reform. Perhaps people in your state do not need health care, but millions of others around the country do. The situation is desperate.

We urge you to vote "Yes" on this bill so that our leaders can move on to resolve other issues inherited by this President.

BLESSINGS ALWAYS,

Dr. E. Faye Williams, Esq., National Co-Chair,

Stephanie E. Myers, National Co-Chair

  1. Mike, we would like to thank you for your support of the health reform bill that passed the House and Senate. We understand that bills never include everything that we would like, but we also understand that it is important that we move forward. By passing this bill, it will allow competent men and women to submit and pass the appropriate amendments that will continue to reform our broken health care system. Thank you and we will continue to work with you to bring about the meaningful change that will make our nation stronger, safer and sustainable.
