Massachussetts Primary Update!

BOSTON — Attorney General Martha Coakley has defeated Mike Capuano in the Massachusetts Democratic Primary. Coakley received 47 percent of the vote and Capuano came in second with 27 percent.

Coakley was also up against City Year co-founder Alana Khazei and Celtics owner Stephen Pagliuca. She will be the first woman elected to the US Senate from Massachusetts.
